One of the tiles is cleverly painted thin glass.

A DC 14 Wisdom (Perception) check detects the different tile.

When this tile is stepped on it breaks, creating a jagged opening. The target must make a DC 14 Dexterity saving throw or take 2d6 slashing and piercing damage and become restrained.

In order to remove the target’s foot, the target can pull it out, which deals an additional 2d6 slashing and piercing damage, or they can make a DC 14 Wisdom (Medicine) check to clear out the glass. On a failure, the target takes 1d6 slashing and piercing damage and is not freed.

The tile, while in the main traffic flow, can be intentionally avoided if the target chooses to do so, otherwise, the target will step on the tile.
