Secret Door

A small draft can be felt in this room.

Mechanical Trap

A secret door is on one of the walls, inside of a bookcase. The inside of the bookcase is lined with razors near the switch.

A DC 12 Wisdom (Perception) check reveals that the draft is coming from the bookcase.

A DC 13 Wisdom (Perception) check will show a small lever, found by feeling, underneath one of the shelves.

A DC 14 Wisdom (Perception) check is needed to discover the small razors lining the shelf near the lever.

If the lever is opened, the target must make a DC 14 Dexterity saving throw or take 1d6 slashing damage. If the blades have been discovered, this save is at advantage. Alternatively, the blades can be avoided with a DC 14 Dexterity (Acrobatics) check.

The blades can be disabled with a DC 12 Dexterity check by covering them up with cloth or other substance. Removing them requires a DC 16 Dexterity check with thieves’ tools.
