The windows are protected by an anti-magic field. Anti-Magic windows (all of target’s magical effects are suppressed for 1d4 rounds after touching field)

  1. Or possibly “after passing through the window”. Anti-magic doors might be a *much* cheaper option than a full anti-magic field. Perhaps the effect might be 1d4 minutes, or a Will save for 1d4 rounds.

    Radiates strong abjuration, of course. No SR.

    Plenty of scope for special keys or wardstones that allow you to pass without the effect.
