Fountain Door (CR 6)

A small fountain is set into one of the walls.

Type: mechanical; Perception DC 27; Disable Device 28

Trigger touch; Reset Repair


The fountain hides a secret door, whose mechanism is at the bottom of the fountain. The water in the fountain has been treated with a substance that paralyzes. If the lever is improperly used, however, the fluid gushes to the floor. Fountain (DC 18 Fortitude Save or become paralyzed for 1d3 hours); multiple targets (all targets within 15′). Note that any direct skin contact with the liquid in the fountain also triggers the paralyzation effect on the character coming into contact.
