One Way Coffin (CR 6)



A fancy coffin, draped in finery, sits on a table.

Type: magical; Perception DC 30; Disable Device 30

Trigger location; Reset None

Effect

Anyone who opens the coffin is teleported to an identical coffin about 2 miles away and buried 6 feet underground. Teleport (DC 17 Fortitude save or be teleported) Once in the coffin, it requires a DC 33 Strength or Escape Artist check to get out of the coffin, and then 6 more successful checks to dig their way out. The PC has 1d4+1 rounds of air before suffocation rules kick in.
