Cone of Cold



This wizard’s hat appears cool to the touch.

Effect

The wizard’s hat is cursed. If worn, it becomes a cone of ice around the character’s neck. ┬áIt deals cold damage at +6, and no armor bonuses apply to the Soak score. Fire at +6 or better will melt the cone in 2 rounds.

Shallow, Water Filled Passageway



The passageway dips down into the water. You think you see where it comes out on the other side, not very far away.

Halfway through the water, the character is hit with a “Lungs of Water and Death” spell. Even if the character makes his stress roll, he is still incapacitated and subject to normal drowning unless he is pulled from the water.

Fire Armor



This armor seems to reflect flickering light… or is it just a trick of the shadows?

Effect

This metal armor is a result of a “Trapping the Fire” spell. It appears to give a +1 to the protction value. There is a 25% chance, each time the armor is hit in combat that it will burst into flames, damaging the character and destroying the armor. It deals fire damage at +12, and no armor bonuses apply to the Soak score. All flammable materials carried by the character are also subject to destruction.
